«¿Quién no ha soñado alguna vez con descubrir una ciudad perdida?». Esta es, al menos, la pregunta que se hace el escritor y explorador Miguel Gutiérrez-Garitano. Porque él, desde que conoció la enigmática Historia del Reino inca de Vilcabamba, no ha podido alejar de su mente la idea de estudiar los restos de aquella civilización, todavía perdidos en las montañosas selvas de Perú.
En busca de la Ciudad Perdida sigue las aventuras de este explorador (y de su equipo) por la región occidental de Vilcabamba, aún inexplorada, en busca de pistas que le ayuden a comprender los enigmas y misterios ocultos del último reino de los incas, a la vez que prepara un nuevo libro al respecto.
